Nintendo calls on the game developers to innovate

Nintendo is the only gaming company, which is not betting on better graphics and more processing power to promote their next generation gaming console codenamed Nintendo Revolution.

The company has a simpler plan. They are bringing a console, which they believe would revolutionize how people play videogames today. Their controller for the Revolution gaming console is a good example considering it looks more like a remote control than a traditional gaming controller.

Now, the company has challenged the game developers around the world to innovate rather than depend up games, which are basically sequels of already successful games. Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s President Satoru Iwata said in a statement that gamers around the world are increasingly getting tiring of sequels and the industry needs new innovating games to bring back more gamers.

He said: “We would like to create a circumstance where they can realize their dreams.” He was referring to their Revolution console, which can make playing simple games like Tetris fun.
