Lara Croft enters Guinness World Record
Lara Croft is one of the most popular video gaming character in the history of gaming consoles and she has now entered the Guinness World Record as the most successful human video game heroine.
Incidentally, this has just been announced, as the makers of this video gaming franchise are due to launch the latest version of the Tomb Raider. The Guinness World Record has judged Lara Croft as the “Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine”.
The very first game in this series Tomb Raider was released in 1996 and it became an instant hit with the gamers around the world. Tomb Raider 2 was a decent sequel to this game. Though, the later versions were not as popular as the makers had expected.
Eidos is now very close to shipping Tomb Raider: Legend in just a matter of days and they have the support of Tomb Raider creator Toby Gard, who is back to work on the franchise for the first time since the original.
