Ubisoft confirms Red Steel for Nintendo Wii
Videogame developers Ubisoft has confirmed that their first title for the upcoming next generation Nintendo Wii gaming console would be called Red Steel. It would be an action game, which will work with the console’s unique ‘freestyle’ remote controller.
Ubisoft added about this game that it would be based in the present day Japan, and will see players taking on Yakuza mobsters using both guns and katanas.
They are primarily developing this game at their Ubisoft Paris division and developers working on it had previously worked on popular gaming titles like Prince of Persia, Far Cry Instincts, and Ghost Recon.
Ubisoft’s chief creative officer, Serge Hascoet added: “We have been working closely with Nintendo to take full advantage of the innovative controller to create a thrilling experience that can only exist on the Revolution.”
Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime spoke about their collaboration with Ubisoft: “Nintendo is excited to have Ubisoft bring Red Steel to the Revolution launch lineup. From what we have seen from Red Steel, it is going to be a standout exclusive title.”

redsteel is a cool name, so are the screenshots and the info. as expected nintendo revolution will have a number of original titles. may i also add that the graphics on the game look true to next-generation gaming and will definately be able to compete with other FPS titles on other formats.
