Aspyr to bring Call of Duty 2 on handhelds and PDAs
Aspyr Media has said in a statement that they would be porting the Call of Duty 2 videogame to the Intel’s “Monahans” platform, which powers the new generation of PDAs and smartphones.
This means that the Macintosh platform would not be the only one to get this awesome videogame. They would be launching these new variants of the game sometime later this year.
Call of Duty 2 is basically a 3D first-person shooter based on the role of Allied soldiers assaulting the German front lines during World War II. The Macintosh version of this game is almost ready and the company is preparing for its launch in the market.
Aspyr Vice President Ted Staloch said that they are aiming at making this game the first one to offer a true 3D gaming experience for pocket PCs.
