Microsoft officially announces HALO 3 for Xbox 360
Software giants and the maker of the Xbox 360 gaming console Microsoft officially unveiled Halo 3 during its E3 press conference.
This is expected to become the showcasing game for the Xbox 360 gaming console which the company launched last year.
With both Sony and Nintendo due to come out with their next generation gaming consoles later this year, Microsoft needs a game of this caliber to keep the consumer interested in their offerings.
The company released a trailer for its highly-anticipated sequel on the Internet and its Xbox Live service. It would be the first of the Halo series to be designed specifically for the Xbox 360 gaming platform.
And to show how much it means to the company, Microsoft’s chairman Bill Gates himself was there to announce the game to the media! Microsoft studio Bungie which creates this series has also released the video on the internet and a high definition version is available on Xbox Live Marketplace.
