Nintendo DS Lite launch in Europe on June 23
Japanese videogame console maker Nintendo has confirmed that they would be launching their DS Lite handheld gaming console in Europe on June 23.
It would be priced at GBP 99.99. Nintendo DS Lite is the redesigned version of its multi-million selling dual screen handheld and is expected to be a huge success in this market.
The original DS was a huge success in itself as the company sold more than 16 million units around the world.
This new updated version is 60g lighter and two thirds of the size of the original. In addition, Nintendo DS Lite also features four screen brightness settings. Gamers in Europe would be able to choose from two colors Black and White.
Nintendo is also preparing an interesting lineup of games for this console for the launch. They would have on offer games like Brain Training, Dalmatian, and Friends. Of course, New Super Mario Bros. would be the primary offering for the Nintendo fans in Europe.
