Xbox games compatibility to continue for Xbox 360 console
Software giants and the maker of the popular gaming console Xbox 360 have clarified that they are still working on getting the games for the Xbox platform work on the newer console.
The confusion occurred when Xbox chief Peter Moore said in an interview during the E3 show: “Nobody is concerned anymore about backwards compatibility. We under promised and over delivered on that.”
He went on to say: “More are coming, but at some point, you just go, there’s enough, let’s move on, or people aren’t as worried about a game being backwards compatible.”
Apparently, they underestimated the expectations from the gamers who want all the Xbox games compatible with the Xbox 360 console. The company has now clarified that another major update is due soon which would add support for many more games.
As many as 200 games developed for the Xbox gaming console can be played on the Xbox 360 console.
