Microsoft claims no price cut planned for Xbox 360
The market might be hoping Microsoft to cut the prices of its Xbox 360 gaming console to counter the upcoming launch of Sony Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, but the company has no plans to do so.
Sony Playstation 3 is already priced way to high to challenge the price of Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii is targeted at other genre of videogame fans.
John Porcaro, group manager of PR and communications for Microsoft US wrote in a blog post: “As you’re all aware, there have been rumors of a price drop for the Xbox 360 coming along later this year. The official word from folks in the know is that there are currently no plans for a price drop this fall.”
He further added: “If you’ve been holding off picking one up because you think they’ll be cheaper in the future, or they’ve been hard to find, or because you’re too busy catching up on past episodes of Lost, wait no longer.”
So, for all you wannabe Xbox 360 owners, it is the right time to go ahead and get an Xbox 360.

I’d like to see a game console that is able to hook up to four LCD Monitors, when playing split screen. In this way, you do not need to buy four consoles and you can’t cheat and look at each others screen when playing multiplayer. Yes, keep dreaming…Both Microsoft and Sony are money hungry, this can be done so easily, but would it benifit them money wise?…
