Prey to come out in North America on July 11

Video game publisher 2K and 3D Realms have finally announced the launch date of their upcoming gaming title Prey.

Prey is a first-person shooter and has now reached the gold master stage. It would be launched for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC platform and would be available in both a regular edition and a limited collector’s edition.

It would go on sale in North America on July 11. Europe would see the launch on July 14.

The developers claim that this title turns the genre upside-down with new game play features and next generation graphics. It also introduces innovative game play elements including wall walking, portals, spirit walking and gravity flipping, which allows for insane eight player death matches.
