Microsoft to add vintage games to its Xbox Live Arcade
If you ever wanted to play Pac-Man on your Xbox 360, you just might get a chance now. Software giants and the makers of the Xbox series of gaming consoles are planning to add some retro games to their Xbox Live Arcade.
The console is mainly known for its cutting edge gaming hardware and high quality graphics. Nevertheless, there are still games out there who might want to spend sometime playing old games and the company is targeting these audiences.
Microsoft is now planning to begin offering updated versions of popular 1980s-era games through Xbox Live Arcade. This service allows the games to download and play trial versions of games, which they can later purchase for between $5 and $15.
These retro games would feature slightly improved graphics and other updates to make them more interested to the modern age gamer. One of the first games to be made available through this service is Frogger.
