Clive Barker’s Jericho to come for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC

Codemasters have confirmed that they have signed on a deal with master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker and they would be making a game based on a new supernatural horror story developed by him.

Codemasters would now work with Barker to develop the title named ‘Clive Barker’s Jericho’. This game would be released for the Microsoft Xbox, Sony Playstation 3 and PC platform. The launch is due for sometime next year.

Codemasters promise that this game would mingle the darkest elements of Barker’s horror fiction and films with an ambitious, age-spanning story. They are targeting this game at mature gamers, fans of Clive Barker and horror fiction enthusiasts.

Baker said on this deal: “However, unlike a conventional game in which the characters are attempting to escape at the end of their ride through Hell, our protagonists have a much more difficult task. The closer they come to the end of their trek into darkness, the nearer they get to the source of that darkness: Evil Incarnate, we’ll call it for now…”
