Moto E680G: Motorola launches online game playing mobile phone in China
World’s second largest maker of mobile phones Motorola has now introduced their first online-game-playing mobile phone in the Chinese market. China happens to be one of the most exciting online gaming markets in the world and Motorola wants a major slice of that pie for themselves.
Motorola launched a customized Moto E680G mobile phone, which is capable of playing online titles from Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd., a top Chinese game operator.
Ian Chapman-Banks, Motorola’s North Asia general manager of marketing and business development for mobile devices spoke about this launch: “This is our first online game on a handset. Eighty-three percent of China mobile phone users play games on their mobile phones. This is why we’ve chosen China first.”
Owners of this new mobile handset would be able to play online games including Shanda’s World of Legend and Magical Land. And gamers would be able to download the relevant software to play online at Motorola Games Chinese website.
