AOL acquires videogame website GameDaily
Time Warner’s internet division AOL has revealed that they are acquiring the videogame review website GameDaily in order to get a wider online presence in more fields.
GameDaily basically caters to the ever-growing online population of games aged between 18 to 34. The service earns revenues from online advertisement.
The website basically provides previews of new games, tips on how to improve scores and free game downloads. They also have a business section for Videogaming professionals.
AOL is acquiring this online portal from Gigex and has declined to reveal the financial aspects of this deal. They plan to keep the portal’s brand and would be merging it with their own AOL Games division.
