Sony Playstation 2: Cheaper and now available in Pink Color!
Sony continues to use their Playstation 2 gaming console to keep Microsoft at bay. The Japanese maker of Videogaming consoles has announced that they slashing the price of the PS2 gaming console in the European market.
Consumers in Europe can now pick up a PS2 at its new low price of 129.99 euros. In addition, the company has also launched a limited edition pink version.
Interestingly, consumers in the US market are already able to acquire a PS2 from the market for a bargain price of $129.99. The European price comes to around $168/$180.
This is a great deal for consumers who wants to get into gaming but are not interested in shelling out a lot more for the Microsoft Xbox 360. Sony’s upcoming Playstation 3 gaming console is going to be a hell lot more expensive.
The company said on this new deal: “Significant advances in manufacturing efficiency, together with economies of scale driven by global shipments of over 106 million units have enabled cost savings to be made, which are now being passed on directly to new PlayStation 2 customers.”
