World’s largest publisher of videogames Electronic Arts has launched their latest title ‘Madden NFL 07’.

This is the latest title in their best-selling sports series, which is also the largest U.S. sports video game franchise. This series has seen sales of 51 million units since the first edition, which was released in 1989.

Market analysts believe that this game alone could account for about 7 percent of EA’s estimated annual revenue of around $3 billion. In fact, the most recent edition of this game was the top-selling title in North America, and has sold 6.5 million copies thus far.

The game carries an E rating, which means it is suitable for everyone. EA would be selling units of this game for prices ranging from $29.99 to $59.99 depending upon the gaming platform.
