Microsoft Xbox 360 to come to India by end of September
Software giant Microsoft has said that they are aiming to launch their next generation gaming console Xbox 360 in the Indian market by the end of September this year.
The company already has a big presence in the software market in India and now they want to become a dominating player in the videogame console market.
Microsoft is hoping that the improving purchasing power of the Indian consumer would get them good sales of this videogame console, which would take on the upcoming Sony Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
Mohit Anand, country manager for Microsoft India’s entertainment & devices division confirmed in a statement: “The Xbox 360 will be available from September 23.”
The company would be selling the Xbox 360 console, its controller along with a game for 19,990 rupees ($430).
