Xbox 360 finally available in India
Videogaming fans in India can now officially purchase the Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console from the local markets.
The software giant has finally launched the console in India and it has been priced in the range of about Rs 19,990-Rs 23,990.
The company is using the services of brand ambassadors Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and cricketer Yuvraj Singh promote Xbox 360 in India.
Microsoft is making available this console across Microsoft’s 1200 strong retail network across top seven cities in the country. Gamers also have around 25 titles to pick up for this console.
Microsoft Country Manager Mohit Anand spoke on this launch: “The gaming community in the Indian market is expected to grow rapidly in the coming few years. Xbox will definitely act as a catalyst to fuel this growth and expose Indian gamers to next generation gaming experiences.”
The company also announced a forthcoming title for this platform: ‘Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007′.
