GameStop to take Nintendo Wii pre-orders tomorrow

GameStop is the biggest video game retailer in the United States and they have confirmed that they would now be accepting limited pre-orders for the Nintendo Wii console starting tomorrow.

The company operates as many as 3,600 GameStop and EB Games stores in the United States and they are asking the customers to deposit USD 50 as reservation price.

GameStop added in a statement issued through email: “Due to extremely limited supply, we expect to reach our limit very quickly, most likely in minutes. We will not accept additional pre-orders at that time.”

They just recently quickly sold through the quota of pre-orders for the other gaming console coming out next month, the Sony Playstation 3.
