World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade delayed till January

Vivendi’s Blizzard Entertainment has said in a statement that they are delaying the launch of their game ‘World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade’.

The game would now ship in January. This means that the company would miss out on the crucial holiday season with this game.

Blizzard has delayed the game to give their developers enough time to improve the games and remove any remaining quirks.

This game would be the first expansion of the original “World of Warcraft”. It would offer the gamers new content and game play.

The original game was shipped in November 2004 and now has more than 7 million subscribers globally. It also happens to be one of the world’s biggest massively multiplayer online role-playing games.
