Nintendo to enter Russian market with their Videogaming business
Japanese business daily Nihon Keizai Shimbun has reported that videogame company Nintendo is considering entering the Russian market.
This means that Nintendo could now take on both Microsoft and Sony in this growing market for videogame developers.
US, Europe and Japan continues to remain the primary markets for the gaming companies but they are maturing fast. Nintendo now needs newer markets to promote their legacy of videogame characters.
The newspaper report added that the company has already appointed a local agency to start selling its game hardware and software. Nintendo has yet not commented on these market reports.
Nintendo is due to launch their Nintendo Wii gaming console in the world markets next month and they would take on Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3.
