Halo movie delayed by Microsoft, Peter Jackson
As per incoming information, Microsoft and Peter Jackson are delaying the plans for the much anticipated movie based on the hugely popular videogame title Halo.
Microsoft said in a statement on these plans: “At this time Microsoft, Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh have mutually agreed to postpone making a feature film based on the Halo video game. While it will undoubtedly take a little longer for Halo to reach the big screen, we are confident that the final feature film will be well worth the wait.”
The company declined to comment any further on this sad news. The movie was expected to be launched just around the summer of 2008.
The movie plans were already under trouble after Universal Studios and 20th Century Fox dropped out as financial backers earlier this month.
