Sony to launch Playstation 3 in Hong Kong and Taiwan on November 17
Sony has some good news for their fans in the South East Asian countries. The company has expanded the program to launch their upcoming Sony Playstation 3 gaming console in Hong Kong and Taiwan on Nov. 17.
PS3 would be Sony’s first major console launch in as many as six years. Impressively, they continue to sell the Playstation 2 console in huge numbers.
Sony would launch the Playstation 3 gaming console in Japan on November 11. The launch in USA would take place on November 17. The company however has delayed the launch in European markets till next year.
Sony Playstation 3 console with 60GB hard disk drive will go on sale in Hong Kong and Taiwan for HK$3,780 and NT$17,980 respectively. The cheaper version would cost HK$3,180 and NT$14,980.

Oh great…. coming to HK! And it SO cheap too; only slightly under HK$4k? Am gonna hang on to my ps2 and psp till that price comes back down to earth where the common folk are. heh!
