Halo online multiplayer to be tested next year

Software giant and the makers of Xbox 360 gaming console Microsoft has said that they would be testing an online multi-player version of its popular “Halo” video game for the Xbox 360 console sometime next year.

Microsoft added that they plan to offer a trial version of “Halo 3″ exclusively through Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 gaming console. Xbox Live stated: “The ‘Halo’ Nation has a nearly insatiable desire. We hope a taste of advance ‘Halo 3′ game play satisfies some of their appetite as we count down to the game’s launch later in 2007.”

The developers of the game want to use feedback from players to refine the science fiction combat game.

Bungie and Microsoft added that they are also planning to offer customized upgrades for “Halo 2″ online multi-player game for Xbox 360.

Halo has been a smash hit success for the company. Microsoft relies a lot on Halo for promoting their Xbox series of gaming consoles. Halo 3 is expected to be a massive hit on the Xbox 360 platform for the company.
