Gears of War for Xbox 360 massive success for Microsoft
Microsoft has said that their videogame title Gears of War has sold more than a million units in two weeks.
This makes it the fastest selling gaming title for the Xbox 360 console for the company, which faces new challenge from Sony Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii gaming consoles this month.
They have been betting a lot on this game to give Xbox 360 buyers something to cheer about at this crucial time where many gamers would be going for rival gaming consoles.
And the sales of games for the Xbox 360 is also very crucial for the company as they have been losing a lot of money on each console unit sold in the market.
However, Halo 2 continues to remain the best selling title for the company ever. It sold roughly 2.5 million copies — in its first 24 hours of availability.

When Gears of War 2 comes out it will beat that record no problem. Halo is a big game for XBOX & for Microsoft but Gears of War is the Halo Killer.
