Nintendo Wii sold 372,000 units in Japan at launch
It is a known fact that Nintendo is selling each and every unit of the Wii gaming console they are manufacturing. Now we have some figures from their Japan launch.
The company is estimated to have sold around 372,000 units of Nintendo Wii console in the first two days of launch in Japan.
These figures have been provided by Enterbrain Inc. which publish local gaming magazine Famitsu.
The Wii console was launched last Saturday and has been a smash hit in the domestic market for Nintendo. It is talking on the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony Playstation 3 console. Both of these consoles are considerably more expensive but offer better features.
Nintendo has since then launched the console in Australia and Europe.
