Nintendo recalling straps for Wii controllers

Nintendo has a superstar in the form of Wii in their hands. However, not everything has gone smooth for the company as they are now recalling 3.2 million straps for its popular Wii computer game controllers.

The company had recently said that they were going to look into the problem people were facing with breaking straps and it’s clear that earlier units indeed had issues with the straps.

This is not the ending of Nintendo’s problems. They are in addition also recalling 200,000 AC adapters for its DS and DS Lite consoles in Japan. Adopters made for the overseas market are not being recalled.

Nintendo added that these recalls are expected to have only a small impact on earnings.
