Microsoft offering extended warranty on Xbox 360 gaming console
Software giant Microsoft has said that they are now extending their warranty on the Xbox 360 video game console to one year from the previous limit of 90 days.
Impressively, this change would apply on both future and present owners.
With this, Microsoft is matching the warranty offered by Sony and Nintendo on their recently launched PS3 and Wii gaming consoles.
Microsoft further clarified that this warranty extension has no connection to the problems faced by the consumers in the first year of ownership of the console.
The company added that customers who already have paid repair bills on Xbox consoles that they’ve owned for less than one year will automatically get refunds.
