Nintendo Wii: Most wanted this holidays
It seems like Nintendo has indeed done the unthinkable. Gamers are all lining up to get their hands on Nintendo Wii gaming console.
The most wanted gift this holiday season seems to be the recently launched Nintendo Wii.
We have also heard complaints about the weak strap which is causing issues for some gamers who are ending up hitting the walls or even their television sets with the game’s controller but it is not stopping people from getting their Wii from the stores.
Even online store Amazon has said that the Wii has been the fastest selling pre-order item in its history. Amazon’s Console and Video Games manager James Schall said: “We sold out of our entire initial stock in just seven minutes. It was definitely the must-have gift of Christmas 2006. The first date for pre-ordering the Wii was November 21 and we expected a great response but what we got was phenomenal.”
Another gift popular this Christmas is the Doctor Who-themed gifts. Amazon Toys and Games buyer Paul Sanders spoke about this gift: “The success of the Doctor Who series has resulted in a fantastic range of products which are not only attracting the attention of existing Doctor Who collectors, but have also captured the imagination of a new generation of children.”
