Microsoft to launch the Xbox 360 in China soon

Software giant Microsoft is soon expected to launch their Xbox 360 gaming console in the Chinese market. This would be a major expansion to their existing business of selling computer software in the market.

Industry sources claim that the company has been discussing launching the gaming console in the market with several potential partners. They are talking with the domestic Internet service providers and personal computer makers.

They are also considering appointing several sales agents for Xbox 360 in the mainland.

In addition, Microsoft is also said to be talking with the government asking for their approval for the product. The government has been quite strict on what kinds of videogames are made available in the country.

The company has officially not revealed how soon this console could be launched in the market but sources believe that the launch could take place around the lunar New Year in the middle of February.

Interestingly, the company has already launched the Xbox 360 in the Indian market.
