Electronic Arts announces “The Sims Stories”
World’s largest videogame publishing company Electronic Arts has announced their new series of videogames named “The Sims Stories”.
These new games are targeted at the laptop-toting youth market.
The game features virtual people which are controlled by the gamers. Incidentally, the parent game of this series “The Sims” is the No. 1 franchise at EA. This videogame series has already seen sales of more than 70 million units globally.
“The Sims Life Stories” is the first game of this new series and it would be launched in the USA and Europe in the first week of February.
EA also revealed that they would launch the follow up games “The Sims Pet Stories” later this year and “The Sims Castaway Stories” next year.
The targeted audience for this new title is the teenagers who are generally hooked on to social networking services. These games have a “Teen” rating and will retail for $40 in the market.
