The Burning Crusade: World of Warcraft adds on a new virtual continent for gamers
Blizzard Entertainment has released the ‘The Burning Crusade’ expansion pack for their hugely popular game World of Warcraft.
The company has also unveiled a new virtual continent to fans in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand.
Blizzard had recently claimed that the game now has a worldwide subscriber base of more than 8 million gamers. Of this, 3.5 million people are from North America and Europe.
Blizzard co-founder Mike Morhaime spoke about the launch of the expansion pack: “The Burning Crusade is the single largest expansion we’ve ever created. We’re excited to share all of the new content with players, and we’re certain that they’ll enjoy the quality and breadth of new experiences that The Burning Crusade offers.”
This expansion pack is being sold in the market for a suggested price of 39.99 dollars. The company also failed to disclose when this pack would be launched in China which is the single largest market for this game.
