HUDSON ENTERTAINMENT and KONAMI ANNOUNCE KORORINPA: MARBLE MANIA FOR THE WII™

Use the Unique Wii Remote™ to Roll, Spin, and Bounce Your Way to Victory in This New Puzzle Adventure Game

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – February 2, 2007 – Hudson Entertainment and Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced Kororinpa: Marble Mania exclusively for the Wii™. An original puzzle adventure game, Marble Mania lets players use the tilt recognition technology of the Wii Remote to maneuver a marble through more than 40 different obstacle-packed stages.

Marble Mania puts the power to manipulate each of the game’s stages in the hands of the player as they use the Wii Remote to twist, turn and bounce their marble through each challenging area. Players will have full control of the environment, letting them execute advanced maneuvers such as flipping the course around, using sharp movements to toss their marble across gaping chasms and taking advantage of the precision of the Wii Remote to keep the balance of their marble as they roll across narrow stretches of land. Players will be able to control their marble through more than 40 stages across five colorful environments including a lush treetop canopy, a land of tasty sweets, and neon-soaked cityscapes.

As they progress through Marble Mania and gather the crystals scattered throughout each stage, players will unlock new types of marbles to play with such as basketballs, watermelons and even marbles that look like animals, including ladybugs and piglets. Each of these marbles has its own speed, weight and bounce ratings, providing substantial replay value as players attempt to get the best time and score on each level with every unique marble. Players can also roll with a friend in the game’s competitive multiplayer mode, trying to beat the other player to the goal while collecting all the crystals. Players can use either the Wii Remote or the Wii Nunchuk in the multiplayer mode, providing additional flexibility for players to enjoy the game with a friend.

Marble Mania will launch for the Wii in Spring 2007.
