Perform Like a Chart-Topping Musician in New PC Plug and Play Video Game
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – February 2, 2007 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced Music Mania, a new Plug and Play video game for the PC that lets gamers of all ages become virtual musicians as they match notes in time to music as it appears on their monitor. Using a custom USB controller, players will need only a PC to enjoy the thrill of performing twenty different songs across two unique modes of play.
Based on a popular Konami music game series in Japan, Music Mania connects directly to any home PC with a USB connection to deliver hours of musical gameplay. Using the custom game controller, players can perform music by hitting the right button in time with the song as notes travel vertically down the screen. Entertaining for players of all ages and skill levels, Music Mania lets gamers play with either three or five buttons to provide a challenging and fulfilling play experience for beginners and music game veterans alike. Players can perform as five different characters to customize their play experience, and also connect online to download new songs and submit their high scores to the game’s online leaderboards.
