Kevin Jowett quits from his position at SCE UK

Sony has confirmed that their UK head of sales Kevin Jowett has left the company. Interestingly, this news comes just five weeks from the launch of PlayStation 3 in Europe.

Sony has already launched the Playstation 3 console in America and Japan.

Jowett was one of the shining stars in the company. He took over his most recent position in the company from Doug Goodwin back in 1998. Experts say that he has played an integral role within the organization since then.

He was the man behind the stock allocations on PS2, PSP and PS3 for retailers in the markets around the world.

SCE UK MD Ray Maguire confirmed this news and spoke about Jowett: “We wish Kevin all the best in his future endeavors.”
