Gears of War and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Take Home Multiple Awards

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–GameFly, the leading online video game rental service, today announced the winners of their 4th Annual GameFly Q Awards. Powered by nearly 200,000 votes, the most in Q Awards history, this year’s honors go to a combination of new titles and the latest entries in established franchises. Gears of War (Microsoft) was awarded “Game of the Year” and “Xbox 360 Game of the Year,” while The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Nintendo) took home two honors.

“The Game Q Awards is a special event for us as it empowers GameFly’s members to vote for their favorite game and gives publishers much deserved recognition for titles that have been received exceptionally well,” said Sean Spector, GameFly co-founder and senior vice president, business development and content.

The Q Awards gives GameFly members the ability to voice their opinion on their favorite titles of the past year. Voting for this year’s Q Awards took place in 10 different categories, including “Game of the Year” and individual console/handheld categories.
