Microsoft to probe fraud reports on the Xbox Live network
The makers of the Xbox 360 gaming console Microsoft has said that they are currently looking into the reports claiming that fraudulent behavior and theft have been noticed on their Xbox Live Network.
The service has more than 6 million registered members who play online with each other and also shop from the network.
The company said in a news release: “Recently, there have been reports of fraudulent activity and account theft taking place on the Xbox Live network.”
Users on the forum have claimed that his account was hacked into and credit card information was stolen from the online account. This is not good news for the company which already faces a lot of criticism from the users for the faults found in their operating system product Windows and other products.
