Devil May Cry 4 to come on PS3, Xbox 360 And PC platforms

Sony has lost yet another exclusive for their Playstation 3 gaming console as the videogame company Capcom has announced their plans to develop the upcoming action sequel Devil May Cry 4 for three gaming platforms. This includes the Playstation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and the PC.

This is kind of surprising for the market analysts as the previous generation games were primarily developed for the Playstation console.

Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe spoke on this decision: “Capcom is committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal. This announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest installment of one of Capcom’s pillar franchises.”

The company is expected to launch the versions for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 simultaneously. The PC version might see a delayed launch. Capcom added that the game for each of these platforms would be developed to take advantage of the features of the console.
