Scrabulous blocked on a larger scale on Facebook
Facebook continues to put more restrictions on the Scrabulous application on their social network.
The game has now been banned in all nations except for India.
This is as a result of a complaint filed with the company by Mattel, which owns the rights to Scrabble outside North America.

The developers behind the Scrabulous game on Facebook have launched a new game named Wordscraper.
The original scrabble based game was targeted by Hasbro which claimed that the game violated their owned copyrights related to the game Scrabble.

Hasbro recently filed a lawsuit against the company which developed Scrabulous for Facebook.
Scrabulous was disabled for the visitors in the US and Canadian market as Hasbro made available an official version of the game in partnership with EA.

Facebook has finally taken the decision and they have now disabled Scrabulous game for their US and Canada based visitors.
